We would like to thank The Loving Companion team for the care and respect they gave to our 11 year old husky, Lyra. It was a difficult decision for us to have to make while she was struggling with severe arthritis, so after some searching online, we feel we made the right decision and choice using The loving Companion. For anyone in a similar position, I would highly recommend. Thank you again.

We didn't want to take our beloved cat, Coco to the vets for her last day. The Loving Companion came to our home and made our goodbyes a much better experience. They were incredibly kind and understanding, and I would highly recommend them.

After making one of the hardest decisions ever for our cat we called Clara and Estelle at loving companions. We are so happy we did they are so lovely and very professional they explained everything to us as well as reassuring us that we had made the best decision for our girl. We weren't rushed they gave us lots of time and we made all the decisions as to when we was ready to say goodbye. Our beautiful cat was stress free and crossed over the rainbow bridge on our bed which is were she spent most of her time. She was was surrounded by all her familiar smells and surroundings rather than a clinical setting of a vets surgery. We would highly recommend loving companions when the time comes to say goodbye to your fur baby , and we can't thank them enough for the compassion that they showed to us as well as our cat

Compassionate service couldn’t fault anything

Thank you for making a very difficult time for us as painless as possible. From start to finish we knew exactly what was happening and we got to spend some treasured last moments with Archie before he went over the bridge. No rush or pressure was felt by us at any time. The ladies at The Loving Companion waited patiently while we said our final goodbyes. We opted to have Archie cremated alone so that we could have his ashes back to scatter where we want to. We also received a few keepsakes such as locks of his hair and prints of his paw and nose, both beautifully presented, which we love. We have no hesitation in recommending The Loving Companion and will request their service again, if necessary, when our second BT reaches the end of his time with us. Thank you, ladies. X

After nursing our gorgeous boy Benjie through heart failure, the dreaded day arrived bed when we had to make the decision. Estelle and Clara were very compassionate and understanding. They allowed everything to proceed at our pace and where we wanted so as not to distress Benjie. His needs were paramount the whole time, even chomping on a treat outside whilst the relaxant injection took affect. When it was the final time, with as much time as we needed he passed away very peacefully. Estelle and Clara were so caring and did everything we requested even down to his cremation. He was brought home a week later with very special touches added. I highly recommend Estelle and Clara and I will definitely use their service again, as and when the time comes with Benjie’s remaining son. Their gentleness, care and compassion made all the difference at a very difficult time.

Professional and caring. My best friend got the most peaceful ending I could have hoped for. The process was explained clearly and Pedro was treated with dignity and love.

From booking the appointment to Clara bringing the ashes back to me, I could not have asked for more. Both Clara and Estelle were compassionate, respectful and empathetic every step of the way. They made one of the most difficult times a little more bearable, I honestly can not thank you both enough 💕

The day I dreaded, having to say goodbye to my 17 yr old companion JC. The girls from loving companion arrived checked JC over and gave me reassurance it was the right thing to do for my girl. The compassion given and care were outstanding and helped me see that JC didn’t suffer and gently slipped away in the comfort of my home where she was relaxed and stress free.. Although a horrible decision to have to make, it was made easier due to the professionalism. Care and compassion delivered by the loving companion. Cannot recommend more highly. This company offers the most amazing service. The devastation of letting my dog go to see her daddy was unbearable until the girls turned up at my house. From start to finish they were so understanding and there mannerism during the whole visit were the most respectful I’ve ever witnessed. They made one of the saddest days of my life after 14 years of loving our dog into the most enlightening one and I have never felt peace like that before. They treated us all with respect and dignity and I trusted them from the minute they came in the door until they took my girl on the next part of the journey to meet her daddy. It was a week later (bank holiday) and they brought her home and again they made me feel at peace she was home. She is now sat on the side in a beautiful scatter tube with her name engraved on top, I also opted for the footprint and nose picture and a lock of her hair. I can say as hard as her loss has been and still is, as it’s only recent I feel so at peace knowing she running around up there with her daddy and without to sound weird I’m prepared to carry on a bit longer here but know in time we will all be together again. Sorry I’ve gone on but the experience I had with “The Loving Companion” played a massive part of me being in this peaceful place and I will be eternally grateful always. 🐶
