I recently had to make one of the hardest choices in my life, and have my beautiful dog ‘Foxy’ put to sleep after having her for 13 years, Clara and Estelle were excellent, they both came to my house and were extremely compassionate and understanding about how I felt about Foxy as she was my shadow/little girl for so long, I’m so lost without her, cancer took her too early from me, it’s not the same anymore, I am however very grateful to you both you didn’t rush me and listened to me in my hardest times. I've been wanting to write this review for weeks. I cried tonight in my back garden. I never thought losing a dig skukd affect me so much. I miss Diesel so much. 4 weeks after he died it's still hard. In the next few lines I hope you'll get an understanding of what he meant to us as a family and how much The Loving Companion helped with the process. To say Diesel was a family pet is a complete and utter understatement. The Loving Companion went beyond my expectations and I wanted to get the feeling, the words and the sentiment across in a way that truely represents how deeply they impacted our family. To give some context, Diesel was a stray of approximately 12 months old when we picked him up. He passed when he was 16 years old. A dog that preceded our 11 year old daughter. A dog that her life was, with him in it. I left the military 17 years ago saying, 'when I can look after a dog, I'm a civilian'. Diesel was my help in to civilian life. I ran the moors with him. We went camping. He was 'The Boy'. I, we, miss him. At 16 and his health deteriorating, we knew it was time and we called The Loving Companion on a recommendation from Leyland Pet Crematorium. From the outset the were compassionate, understanding and empathetic. They were real people and not clinical and matter-of-fact. They are true animal lovers. They were beyond what I expected of the situation. At this time we did not know what to expect but they very easily put at ease. We wanted Diesel to be euthanised at home, on his bed, where he knows. We only wanted the best for him. The Loving Companion were beyond accommodating and when the time came they did not rush us and they gave us all the time we needed and made everything so much easier in a time that was so difficult. They gave us time to sit with him afterwards. We all cried. And they waited empathetically until we were all ready. They took Diesel away with care and dignity. A week later, Diesels ashes arrived Personally delivered, in a gorgeous scatter tube. Nose and paw prints and some vials of his fur. A card and a hand written card which tipped me over the edge. I cannot thank The Loving Companion enough for everything they did. The love, attention and sheer care they took over our dog Diesel. He went with love, dignity and care. I'm in tears writing this but this really doesn't even start to epitimise how fantastic they are. If you've read this far then a 'highly recommended' isn't even the right words to describe what I think. I hope by reading this it helps to convey how much Diesel meant to us and by trusting The Loving Companion made it all a little bit easier. Thank you so much to both of you at The Loving Companion. For such a hard day, you made it so much easier.

Contacting Loving Companion was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, in order to help my Maggie go safely and gently. Estelle was lovely, and so unbelievably compassionate. I was stunned to find she was still working with us despite grieving her own pet at the time. Estelle talked me through how the process would go, and what they would do. The two of them were very caring with Maggie, and so gentle. They gave us plenty of time to prepare, and time to grieve straight after Maggie passed away. We picked up her ashes today and she was so lovingly prepared just how Estelle said she would. We are anticipating Maggie’s paw prints to come back soon because Estelle promised she could do that for us. It was an utterly heartbreaking time, but Loving Companion made it a wee bit easier and we’re so grateful that they made it caring and gentle and that Maggie went peacefully. Thank you ❤️

Massive thanks to Clara and Estelle. We were heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Snoopy but your calm and care made an awful situation easier. We didn't want Snoop's last day to be a traumatic visit to the vet and having someone local come to the house was the best thing for us all. Thank you for bringing her back to us too ❤️

Putting your pet to rest is one of the hardest things you will ever have do, but the ladys from the loving companion make it that little bit easier. I had spoken with Clara for a few weeks leading up to the day as sadly we knew it was coming. Clara chatted and helped me with Gizzys progress until that day came and we knew. Both ladys from the loving companion came to our home within hours of the call, they loved and fussed Giz while they explained everything. Honestly it was such a lovely (as it can be) and peaceful send off for my boy and he peacefully went to sleep in his own home, in his own bed surrounded by us all. Nothing was rushed and we was given as much time as we needed. Our Giz knew absolutely nothing about that monent and thats thanks to The loving companion. Honestly I cannot thankyou both enough. ❤️‍🩹🐾

I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let my beautiful khaleesi go. Clara had been her vet for sometime so there was no question about who I would use. They both made a very difficult decision a bit easier. Khaleesi was treated with so much care and compasion ,they created a lovely peaceful atmosphere for her . Would highly recommend to anyone faced with this most difficult decision

I can’t thank Clara and Estelle enough. They came within a couple of hours of my phone call and had so much care and compassion for me and my beautiful boy Ozzy who had been at my side for 14 years. ❤️❤️

We had to make the hardest decision of our lives to let our beautiful dog to sleep, we chose The Loving Companions to come to our home . To say it was beautiful doesn't even come close . They made the whole experience so lovely. Our whole family were able to hug and kiss our beautiful boy until he fell asleep. Would highly recommend this company. We simply can’t thank Clara and Estelle enough for their compassion and care. Thanks to them we were able to create a calm and peaceful environment for our boy, Franek, with all of his family around him. They attended late at night and at very short notice when he suddenly deteriorated and we will be forever grateful for that. For anyone who may be reading this review faced with the hardest of decisions, I can reassure you that The Loving Companion will give your pet the comfort, dignity and expertise that they deserve.

As a family we can't thank you enough for both your professional but also emotional support during our baby girls last journey. She was at home, on her favourite chair with us all there. You gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and the strength Roo needed from us, to know her time to make her final journey was here. I cant put into words how thankful we all are to you for the care and love you showed not only to Roo, but to us as well. As a family of animal lovers their last journey is never one we like to think about, I'll admit that, but the way Roo was so comfortable and safe in her chair with her loved ones around her will say with me, and for that I thank you with all my heart x We have many 4 legged family members and I won't hesitate to phone you In our time of need x thank you x

Saying goodbye to my Chester was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but Estelle & Clara at The Loving Companion made it peaceful and full of love. They were kind, patient, and treated us both with such care. Being able to say goodbye at home meant everything. Forever grateful for the compassion they showed during such a difficult moment.

A fantastic service. .Myself and my partner were so pleased with the way we and our beautiful boy was treated, kind , considerate and thoughtful.
